Fruit Salad

  • 16 ounces red seedless grapes
  • 12 ounces blackberries
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 large sweet apples, cubed Use varieties like honeycrisp, fuji, or gala for best flavor.

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine the zest and juice of one orange with maple syrup and ground cinnamon. Whisk until well mixed.
  • Add red seedless grapes, blackberries, and chopped pecans to the bowl. Cube the apples into bite-sized pieces and add to the bowl. Toss thoroughly to coat the fruit with the dressing.
  • Serve immediately or cover and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.

Notes

This salad can be prepared up to one day ahead. Toss before serving to redistribute the dressing. Prepared fruit salad will stay fresh for 3 to 4 days in a sealed container in the refrigerator. Substitute 1 orange with approximately ¼ cup of prepared orange juice if needed.
