  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 ribs celery, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 dried bay leaf
  • 4.5 cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth)

  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 0.25 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper

  • 0.5 cup chopped fresh parsley leaves

Instructions

  • In a heavy pot, heat 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil over medium-high heat.
