Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 1.5 cups whole milk warmed to about 110°F (43°C)
  • 2.25 teaspoons Platinum Yeast from Red Star (1 standard packet)
  • 0.25 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 5 tablespoon unsalted butter melted and slightly cooled
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 5 cups all-purpose flour [spooned & leveled]

Coating

  • 0.75 cups unsalted butter divided
  • 1.25 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.67 cups brown sugar packed light or dark
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Vanilla Icing

  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons whole milk
  • 0.5 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Whisk the warm milk, yeast, and sugar together in the bowl of your stand mixer fitted with a dough hook or paddle attachment. Cover and allow to sit for 5 minutes.
  • Add the eggs, butter, salt, and 1 cup flour. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds, then add the remaining flour and beat on medium speed until the dough comes together.
  • Knead the dough in the mixer for 5-7 minutes or by hand for the same duration until slightly tacky but not sticky.
  • Lightly grease a large bowl and place the dough inside. Cover and let rise for 1-2 hours until doubled in size.
  • Grease a 10-12 cup Bundt pan generously.
  • Melt ½ cup of unsalted butter and mix granulated sugar and cinnamon together in a separate bowl.
  • Once risen, punch down the dough and roll into small balls, coating them in melted butter and then cinnamon-sugar.
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and arrange the balls in the Bundt pan. Cover and let rest for 20 minutes.
  • Melt remaining butter, whisk in brown sugar and vanilla, then pour over the dough balls.
  • Bake for 35-45 minutes until golden brown. Cool for 5-10 minutes before inverting onto a plate.
  • Whisk together the icing ingredients and drizzle over the cooled bread.
  • Serve immediately for the best taste and enjoyment.
