  • Skewers

Ingredients

Chicken

  • 2 lbs chicken tenders thighs or breast
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil

Garlic Parmesan Butter Sauce

  • 1 stick butter
  • 8-10 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup parmesan, grated
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce more if desired
  • 2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • cup fresh parsley, minced
  • 1 tablespoon dry ranch seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder

Chicken Seasonings

  • 1.5 tablespoon dry ranch seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Instructions

Prep and Skewer Chicken

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.
  • Combine chicken seasoning mixture in a bowl and set aside. Cut chicken into 3-inch pieces. Toss chicken in olive oil and the spices until well coated.
  • Pack chicken onto skewers tightly, snipping skewers as needed to fit in air fryer.

Make the Garlic Parmesan Butter Sauce

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, heat butter and garlic until partially melted. Stir in red pepper flakes, hot sauce, seasonings, and parmesan. Whisk until combined.
  • Scoop out ⅓ of the sauce to baste par-cooked chicken. Reserve remaining sauce for later basting.

Cook The Chicken

  • Cook 2-3 skewers at a time in air fryer at 400°F for 5 minutes.
  • Flip skewers, baste with sauce, and cook an additional 2 minutes.
  • Flip back, baste with more sauce, and cook another 5-6 minutes until internal temp reaches 165°F.
  • Finish with a final basting of garlic sauce and sprinkle with extra parmesan.

Notes

For oven preparation, preheat to 450°F and cook skewers for 14 minutes, flipping halfway. For grill preparation, preheat to medium-high and cook each side for 5-6 minutes, basting with butter throughout.
