  • 1 lb California Giant strawberries
  • 1 bottle rosé your favorite kind
  • 22 oz white chocolate chips
  • 3 drops red food coloring for light pink color
  • 1 drop yellow food coloring for light pink color
  • edible gold flakes optional for decorating
  • gold dust optional for decorating
  • gold and pink sprinkles optional for decorating
  • edible pearls optional for decorating

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Soak strawberries in half a bottle of rosé for a few hours or overnight. Dry strawberries well with a paper towel.
  • Heat white chocolate chips in microwave in 30 second intervals, stirring each time, until melted. Add 3 drops red and 1 drop yellow food coloring to create a light pink color. For an ombre effect, continue to add color after every two strawberries dipped.
  • Decorate with edible gold flakes, gold dust, sprinkles, and pearls. Serve with the remaining rosé.
